“A Star Overnight!” (The Honolulu Star-Advertiser, February 6, 1932)

A star overnight! That’s practically in a nutshell what has happened to Ann Dvorak. She was playing in Caddo pictures when she moved to First National. Now it is no more secondary parts for her. She has been taken out of the cast of the Ruth Chatterton picture, “The Rich Are Always With Us” to be starred in “Tinsel Girl”, a Michael Curtiz picture. Meanwhile, blonde Adrienne Dore gets her chance by taking Miss Dvorak’s place in the Chatterton opus. Miss Dore is much in evidence these days at various restaurants where film folk congregate always beaued by the same escort.
